LONDON POLICEMAN WEARS A TURBAN.—Constable Harbans Singh Jabbal, a Kenyan-born Sikh, is the first British policeman to wear a turban on duty. He is shown with a colleague on night patrol. The Home Office gave him special permission to wear the turban, in the front of which is the badge of the London Metropolitan Police. Constable Jabbal, who has been in Britain four years, was formerly a detective chief inspector in Kenya.
