Scientology Movement (N.Z. Press Association: AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. After the departure for England of Lady Hort, a new assistant guardian has been appointed as head of the Scientology movement in New Zealand. She is Mrs Josephine Bath, a New Zealander, who has been acting as deputy assistant guardian for four months. She was previously at the movement’s headquarters in the United Kingdom. Lady Hort, accompanied by her husband, Sir James Hort, and their four children, left Auckland on Friday in the Northern Star, which is due in Southampton on Januarv 8. Sir James Hort has sold his medical practice and his house in Takapuna. A spokesman for the movement said today that Sir James Hort would be completing advanced courses in Scientology in England.
