Prisoners Freed
The National Assembly has approved an amnesty law freeing all political prisoners in Tunisia. The law, which will affect 43 prisoners, is extended to all those convicted for
harming internal or external State security, as well as to those who give themselves up and confess to having committed these offences.—Tunis, December 7.
