Dickinson-Robinson Issue

Sir,—lf the directors had ; so little confidence in their' issue that they had to have it underwritten at a cost of some $24,000, how come that the underwriters then proceeded to take the whole issue firm? These shares are now selling at 120 c. I am surprised that the directors, after their somewhat grandiose statement in the prospectus, should be happy with 2642 shareholders. An average shareholding of 500 shares, which seems reasonable, would have brought in 3500 shareholders. Yours, RAT-RACE. October 16. 1969. [Mr F. F. Clarke, secretary of DRG New Zealand, Ltd, replies: “We do not wish to comment beyond our previous letter to you.”]
