Jet Boats
Sir,—My attention has been directed to the photograph and statement which appeared in your newspaper today regarding a Hamilton jet boat. We would like to correct the statement that it is the largest jet boat for passengers. My company supplied a larger boat, fitted with a France jet, for the transport of personnel for use on the Wanganui River in 1962. This craft also successfully towed a 60-ton drilling rig through the rapids for investigation into a suitable hydro-electric power scheme. —Yours, etc., ARNOLD FRANCE, LTD. ■ October 23, 1969.
