Strong Team From North
“The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND. There will probably be a strong team of Auckland and Waikato horses going to Christchurch for the New Zealand Trotting Cup meeting, which will open on November 11. Of the entrants for the cup, however, only Tobias Is sure of a place in the field. The others, Leroy and Victoria, are on 2min llsec and 2min 12sec respectively. As well as Tobias, Pukekohe horses entered for the meeting are Thurber Scott, Gerrand and Single Trix. The connections of all three are “fairly sure” of making the trip. Other northern horses nominated include Anonymous, Precocious, Yakamo, Senornui, Single Cash. Inferno, Yandarlo, Young Cardigan, Faye Bingen and Kings Up.
