JORDAN ATTACK
Bomb Blast; At Mosque (N.Z P A -Reuter—Copiiright) AMMAN. Oct. 23. A bomb exploded today outside the A! Hussein mosque,! the largest in Amman, injur-; ing about 15 people. The bomb exploded as de-' monstrators were marching; past the mosque in protest; against the action of the Lebanese Army against Pale- 1 stinian commandos in the south of the Lebanon. Security forces, who launched an immediate in-' vestigation into the blast, refused to comment on who was: responsible.
This is the first incident of its kind since November of last year, when there was a tense confrontation in Amman between the Jordanian Army and commando units.
