Plan Shelved
San Francisco authorities hhve shelved for six months a plan to allow the Texan millionaire, Mr Lamar Hunt, to turn Alcatraz Island, the former prison site, into a monument to the United States space programme. The island was abandoned as a prison in 1963.—San Francisco, October 22.
