1970 Title Venues

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. The 1970 national women’s golf championships will be held at Invercargill from November 11 to November 18, and the Russell Grace tournament at Poverty Bay from May 5 to May 7, the annual meeting of the New Zealand Ladies' Golf Union decided. Other dates are:

Veterans’ tournament. Whakafane. April 7. 8,9; autumn foursomes, Wanganui, April 21, 22, 23; junior national tournament, Russley, Christchurch, May 19, 20, 21.

The Tasman Cup event will be held at Sydney on August 7 and 8 and the Espirito Santo world championship at Madrid on September 30 and October 1 and 2. Mesdames H. C. Mac Diarmid; J. E Greenall and D. A. Whitehead were elected national i selectors for 1970.
