JACKPOT NOT WON
The six-race jackpot eluded patrons at the Westport Jockey Club’s meeting at Riccarton yesterday and there will be a pool of $2265 to build on at the Geraldine club’s meeting at Orari next Saturday. There were 35 “live” entries after the third jackpot race yesterday but Bannock’s win in the Buller Stakes put everyone out of business.
