FINANCE SOUGHT
Stimulus For Horticulture (N.Z. Preu Association) WELLINGTON, Oct 10. An export revenue increase of 273 per cent had been projected for the horticultural industry, and priority was being given to developing sources of available revenue, the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Tai* boys) said tonight The provision of finance for horticulture had not been organised to the same extent as for other industries, and the rationalisation of finance could provide a stimulus to its development, he said in a statement The facilities for finance were under review, and a report would be presented to the next meeting of the horticultural committee of the Agricultural Production Council. The condition of the world’s dairy and wool markets had a considerable bearing on the need to increase activity in horticulture.
