‘ South Island Proposal (From Our Own Reporter; j WELLINGTON, August 26. The Meat Board has affirmed its earlier decision that the next new freezing works in the South Island • should be located in the Gore area. In reporting this to the annual meeting of the electoral committee of the board today, the chairman (Sir John Ormond) said it aimed for the works to start in 1972-73.
