Posting To Parish (N Z. i>re>« Association) AUCKLAND, August 26. The Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland (Archbishop J. :M. Liston) has made an exI tensive reshuffle of Auckland Roman Catholic posts. The reshuffle has been made less than a month after the controversy over the sacking ’by Archbishop Liston of the ieditor of the Catholic weekly, “Zealandia,” the Rev. P. F. Murray. Two of those who figured in the controversy, Father Murray, and the Archbishop's secretary, the Very Rev. J. J Flanagan, are among those given new appointments. Father Murray is to become assistant parish priest at Balmoral.
Dr Flanagan, who issued a statement supporting the Archbishop’s decision to change the editor of “Zealandia,” will become parish priest at Takapuna. Dr Flanagan, has also been manager of “Zealandia" and secretary of the Auckland Diocese Secondary Education Fund.
