Langton Out, Green In

W. R. Green, the Sydenham! three-quarters who scored a try in each of his two previous representative games this season, will replace B. W. Langton (Hornby) in the Canterbury Rugby league team to play Auckland in the final of the New Zealand Rothmans inter ■ provincial tournament at Cariaw Park on Saturday. After leading Hornby to victory in the club grand final against Marist - Western Suburbs on Sunday, Langton discovered that his arm was broken and he has had it placed in plaster. Green will play on the wing with B. Bigwood (Papanui) moving in to partner his clubmate, S. Dunn, in the centres to place of Langton.
