Team Led By G. Brand The New Zealand World Cup soccer trtaiist, G. C. Brand, will lead the Combined Services team against a Young Canterbury XI at English Park on Saturday. Brand is a Wellington representative and a high scoring forward in the Miramar Rangers team. The Services side also indudes a former New Zealand and Auckland representative. K. Sudlow, who was playercoach of Shamrock last year. The team is:— Sergeant J. Walker (Army); L. T. M. Gum (Navy), Sergeant F. C. Edwards (Police); Corporal D. Gent (Army). C.P.O. D. G. Hooper (Navy), Constable M. B. Tatum (Police); Sergeant R. M Bennett (Army). Constable G. C. Brand (Police). Sergeant K. Sudlow (Air Force). Constable R. S. Dunning (Police). L.A.C. P. Bayliss (Air Force). Reserves: Lta.C. N.. G. Greaves and L.A.C. C. Stewart (both Air Force).
