MAN KILLED BY TREE
(N.Z. Press Association) LEVIN, Aug. 27. A man was killed by a falling tree in the Waitarere Forest about 11 a.m. today. He was Leslie Thomas Gregory, aged 53, of Avenue Road, Foxton, a contractor thinning trees three or four miles into the forest.
