HUSSARS ARRIVE

‘Adventure Training’ (N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON. Aug. 25. Six members of the 14th/20th King’s Hussars Regiment arrived in Wellington last week-end to visit members of a New Zealand regiment to which they are affiliated. Stationed in Germany, the Hussars are affiliated with Queen Alexandra’s Ist Armoured Squadron of the New Zealand Army. The Hussars, “thumbed their way,” to New Zealand from Germany as part of an “adventure training” exercise.

The group, led by Lieutenant R. J. Mann, comprises Corporal M. G. Plummer, Lance-Corporals J. E. Horsfall and P. J. Stuffin, and Troopers K. Jackson and K. Al cock.
