Trains Hit
At least three persons were killed and 34 injured last night when a Penn central commuter train and an empty train collided head-on here. Several passengers were trapped in one of the cars, a police spokesman said. Many of those injured were reported in serious condition. —Darian (Connecticut), August 21.
