‘ZEALANDIA’ DIRECTOR

Resignation From Board (N.Z. Press Association ) AUCKLAND, August 14. Mr E. V. Dumbleton has resigned from the board of directors of the Auckland Roman Catholic newspaper, "Zealandia.” He said in reply to an inquiry yesterday that he had written on August 2 to Archbishop J. M. Liston, saying he had concluded with regret that he could be of no further use to the board. Mr Dumbleton’s acceptance of an invitation to join the board—he was its first nonCatholic member—was announced early in July.
