Poll Of 30 Per Cent

There was little student interest in the ejections for president of the University of Canterbury Students’ Association yesterday. Less than 30 per cent of students eligible voted.

Three candidates stood and Mr D. Cuthbert, a fourth-year engineering student and member of the current students’ executive was successful. Voting was.—D. Cuthbert, 669 votes (elected); D.
