The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) will visit Ashburton on Friday to lay the foundation stone of the new Ashburton College. He will attend a civic luncheon at the Somerset Hotel and the stone-laying ceremony at 2 p.m. About an hour and a half later he will return to Wellington.
