CRICKETER RECOVERING
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON. The condition of the 23-year-old Queensland cricketer, J. Loxton, who suffered head injuries Th a match at Manchester on Wednesday, continues to improve. Loxton was rushed tb the hospital after he was hit on the head by a bumper from the Lancashire fast bowler, P. Gooch. An operation was performed and Loxton recovered consciousness early yesterday.
