NO REPLY BY FRANCE
Invitation To Celebrations (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 10. New Zealand would welcome participation by France in the Cook bi-centenary celebrations later this year, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today. “This fact has been communicated to the French Embassy here and to the French Government So far we have received no specific reply.”
