MARRIAGE TO ACCUSED

Crown Witness In Trial (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 10. The first prosecution witness in a trial in the Supreme Court this morning was stood down when she told the Court that she had married the accused about an hour before the trial began. Bernard Roydon Ernest McNabb appeared before Mr Justice Henry and a jury charged with burgling a house at Mount Maunganui on or about March 19. Mr E. R. Winkel appears for the Crown and Mr C. R. Pidgeon for McNabb. The Crown called Miss Nancy Joan Brown, who told the Court that her name was now Mrs Nancy Joan McNabb. She had married McNabb this morning. She produced her marriage certificate and was released from giving evidence.
