DEATHS IN ACCIDENT
Driver Fined $l5O (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 8. The driver of a car which crashed into a bridge, killing two hitch-hikers who were passengers in the car, was fined SISO in the Auckland Magistrate's Court today. David John Gerrard, aged 18, an apprentice panelbeater, pleaded guilty before Mr E. F. Rothwell, S.M., to a charge that at Silverdale on March 7 he caused the deaths.
