$200 FINE FOR HOAX
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 10. A 19-year-old youth was fined $2OO today for wilfully giving a fictitious message that there was a bomb in the St James Theatre. Graeme Edward Labman, an apprentice printer, appeared for sentence before Mr D. G. Sinclair, S.M. He had pleaded guilty on June 4. The Magistrate said the charge was a serious one. “It doesn’t need me to point out the concern and trouble which such fictitious calls create,” he said.
