Western To Casper
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter) MIDLOTHIAN (Illinois). W. Casper shot a four-under-par 67 on the rainsoaked Midlothian Country Club yesterday to win the $26,000 first prize in the Western Open golf tournament. Casper finished with a 72hole total of 276, four strokes in front of R. Thompson, who had a final -round of 6<>. R. J. Charles, of New Zealand, finished well back in the field with a total of 288 He won $1406.
