FIRE IN BAKERY
Fire caused minor damage to the ground wall of a bakehouse owned by Mr C. Verschuren, at 6A Quinns Road, Shirley, late last evening, after electrical wiring in a switchboard shorted. One engine from St Albans and one from Headquarters were called to the fire at 11.28 p.m.
