Sixth-Form Study Group

The impact of communications on society, and science and its relationship with Christianity, will be discussed by sixth-form pupils at a study group arranged by the Crusader Movement.

Staring this week, the sixday study session will include visits to Lincoln College, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Christchurch Airport, the computer laboratory and science and engineering departments at the University of Canterbury, the television station at Sugarloaf and the astronomical observatory at West Melton,

The pupils will be addressed by the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr AdamsSchneider), the rector of All Souls, London (the Rev. J. R. W. Scott), Professor R. H. M. Langer (Lincoln College), Professor B. G. Wybourne (Canterbury University) and Dr D. L. Roper (Victoria University).
