Boilermakers’ Decision The Canterbury Boilermakers’ Union would not allow it? self to be taken over by any other union but would remain an autonomous body, about 80 members of the union decided at their annual meeting yesterday. > The secretary (Mr A. Cormack) denied reports that he intended to hand the union over to a larger organ*Members said they had been approached by representatives of the New Zealand Engineers* Union to join that i union.
