Rangers And City Drawn Christchurch City, who has already had to overcome one considerable hurdle. Shamrock, in the Chatham Cup. will meet another in the quarter-finals. City, the beaten national finalist in 1966. has been drawn against Rangers on June 2. When they met In a semi final last season. Rangers . fought back from 0-2 down to win 3*2 in extra time. One of the less fancied sides is now certain to reach the semi-finals—Timaru City or University, who have been drawn together. All four matches will be played over Queen's Birthday at English Park. The draw is: Saturday (May 31): Timaru City v. University, 1 p.m.; Technical v. Western. 3 p.m. Monday (June 2): New Brighton v. High' School Old Boys, 1 p.m.; Christchurch City v. Rangers, 3 p.m.
Holt-ln-one.—Mrs L. Watson holed-in-one at the seventh at Avondale on Thursday. She used a 5-tron for the 112. yard shot.
