CRICKET POOLS
New Sunday League (N.Z.P. A.-Reuter —Copyright) LONDON. A treble chance cricket pool based on the new Sunday Cricket League in Britain will be run by major companies this summer. A selected list of batsmen from each county in eight games on 15 Sundays, between April 27 and the start of the soccer season, on August 9, will comprise the basis of the pool. Punters must choose eight batsmen a line and will be awarded eight points for a player scoring 40 or more, two points for 25 to 39, It points for 10 to 24, and one point for under 10. For a batsman who does not go to the wicket, half a point will be awarded.
