CV.Z. Press ,4ssn.— Copyright) LONDON. The former test bowler, A. V. Bedser, was appointed chairman of England’s test selection committee yesterday. His associates will be one former member, D. Kenyon, and two newcomers, A. Smith and W. Sutcliffe. D. J.j Insole and P. B. H. May were not available. The immediate task of the new committee will be to! field teams capable of beating the West Indies and New[ Zealand, who will be sharing! tours this summer.
