20 Players On Tour
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND.
Australia will send 20 players, two managers and a coach on its six-match Rugby League tour of New Zealand in late May and early June, according to a letter received by the New Zealand Rugby League secretary (Mr C. Mountford). The Australians will be chosen in Brisbane on May 18. They will leave for Auckland on May 26. The first game is against North Island at Rotorua on May 28, followed by the first test, at Carlaw Park, on June 1.
Australia will play South Island in Christchurch the next day, Wellington on June 4. the second test at Carlaw Park on June 7, and the Auckland game on June 10.
Dunlop Golf.— A South African. H. Inggs, won the Dunlop golf tournament at the Royal Salisbury club with a one-over-par 72 and a three-under 68 in the final 36 holes for an aggregate of 278. The overnight leader, G. Henning (South Africa) carded 75 in his third round, to end one stroke behind Inggs with 279.
