More Sheep Killed
(N.Z. Press Association) OAMARU, Feb. 5. The Waitaki Farmers’ Freezing Company’s works at Pnkeuri has killed 634,685 sheep and lambs so far this season compared with 581,886 ; for the corresponding period last season. Lambs killed to date have averaged 30.11 b with 17 per ’ cetn f.a.q. compared with a lamb average last season of ; 28.61 b and some 28.6 per cent f.a.q. The daily kill at the works is still about 9000 although it exceeded 12,000 at the peak! of the season?
