New Police Station

Construction of the new Kaiapoi Police Station began on Tuesday. The builder is Mr W. J. Betteridge, of Christchurch, The two-man station, of 675 sq. ft, will be built of green concrete blocks and will be completed towards the end of April. It will replace a brick building built in 1890 which was formerly used as a court-house.
