I After a successful protest Canterbury will meet Hutt Valley today to decide the winner of the New Zealand under-14 girls’ softball tour-' nament Waikato defeated Canterbury, 7-2, yesterday, but a successful protest, understood to be related to an absence of Waikato birth certificates, was made by Canterbury. Results: —Auckland 15. Southland 3; Hawke’s Bay 15. W’aikato 5; Canterbury 12. Wellington 6; Hutt Valley 9. Hawke’s Bay 4: Southland 8. Wellington 2: Hutt Valley 3. Auckland 1.
