CONSISTENT PERFORMER.—P. A. Skilling was the most consistent amateur cyclist at the Hornby Caledonian Society’s fourth annual snorts meeting at Denton Oval last Saturday. A fast final lap gave his team victory in the Italian pursuit event and he finished second in the A grade miss-and-out race, the one-mile open scratch and the one-mile handicap events. Skilling has a powerful sprint and as the track season reaches its peak, he is certain to be to the fore.
