Woodend Beach Gala

Sir, —As a visitor to Woodend Beach with the family for a few weeks holiday, and camping there, I wish to congratulate the secretary and his working committee on the way their gala was run on New Year's Day. Fun and games for adults, a merry-go-round and Noddy train as well as chocolate wheels and races for the children. It was the best-run gala we have been to in our lives and we hope to be camping at Woodend Beach again next year.— Yours, ete., REX M. CAMPBELL. Greymouth, January 3, 1969.
