GOLF TREAT

The match between K. D. G. Nagle (left) and R. J. Charles, at Russley on Sunday, December 1, will be played in nine-hole sections. These great players, the two most recent holders of the New Zealand Open, will begin their stroke match at 10.30 a.m. and there will be a break for lunch after the first nine holes. The match will be resumed about 1.15 p.m.

The public is invited to watch these fine professionals, and no charge, will be made for admission to Russley, a course with which both Nagle and Charles are familiar. Nagle is reputed to be the world’s best putter; but there will be many who regard Charles as at least his equal in this department of the game. It should be a most entertaining and spectacular match.
