Friesians Take Top Places

Friesians look the top three places in the market milk cow competition yesterday. The contest is sponsored each year by Canterbury Dairy Farmers, Ltd. The first prize of $136.50 went to Eric L. Adams’s Pitcairns P.l. Ina. The second prize of $52.50 was awarded to N. J. Sheriff and Sons’s Deloraine M.D. Vivian, and the third went to the same entrant’s Deloraine Magic Echo. The contest was judged on I the card system by the four] dairy breeds judges: Mr G. i Brazendale, of Carterton [ (Ayrshire), Mr J. Hellyer, of, Dunedin (Jersey), Mr A.
