Egg .Prices
Sir, —The criticism of Mr Marshall for permitting egg prices to rise is interesting, but has Mr Freer thought of the grower? Before the rise we could get only 16c a dozen at the store, but wheat and mash prices remained at the usual high rate. Even now eggs are not payable for the smaller grower.—Yours, etc., WHITE LEGHORN. November 12, 1968.
