Milford Track Damaged

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Nov. 7. Damage to the Milford Track and huts by storms at the end of last month has delayed the opening of the track from November 20 to December 9.

Some parts of the track were renewed last winter, but reconnaissance by the Tourist Hotel Corporation has shown that large sections of the track, including huts, have since been severely damaged. So far there are 1753 persons booked to walk the track this season.
