SERIOUSLY ILL

Peter Owen Burgess, aged three, of 10 Niagara Street, North Linwood, who suffered severe head injuries when struck by a taxi near Corsair Bay on August 28, is still on the seriously ill list in the Christchurch Hospital. His condition has been poor and last evening was reported to be unchanged. Kim Milton John Ormand Collins, aged 11, of 25 Strickland Street, Sydenham, who was seriously injured when the car he was a passenger in hit a pole on the Main South Road at Rolleston on Sunday, was still on the seriously ill list in the Christchurch Hospital last evening. His condition had improved from poor to fair.
