New Classes
Two mors activity clashes began at Friendship House on Friday. They are floral art and leathercraft. The activity classes are proving popular. There have been 60 enrolments for the classes in pottery, Maori art and culture, drama, and speech, according to advice from the Central Mission Office in Christchurch.
Goiters Arrive.—The Australian women's golf team to contest the Tasman Cup against New Zealand arrived in Wellington yesterday for three days of preparation. Australia has held the cup for the last 35 years.
