Seven Men In A Bus

A double-decker London bus, painted red, white and blue, which is being driven round the world by seven young Londoners, will arrive on Monday for a tour of New Zealand. The bus will arrive at Lyttelton aboard the Waimea and the seven men, led by Albert Pigeon, will arrive in Christchurcb by air from Australia tomorrow. When the young men got as far as Singapore on their world drive they were out of money and it looked as

if the journey would end there. Qantas offered to take the bus round Australia and had it painted like a Union Jack. Since April 24 the young men and their vehicle have driven round Australia. The bus will be joined at Lyttelton by a London taxi which a member of the Qantas staff will drive to the port. The taxi, which has also toured Australia and is now touring the North Island, will arrive in Christchurch on Saturday.
