Softballers Lose Two

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) PRESCOTT (Arizona). The New Zealand softball team was beaten thrice at Prescott last evening, losing 0-1 to Skull Valley and 0-2 to the Hustlers. The tourists appeared lethargic after a long bus trip from San Francisco. In the first game, Skull Valley scored in the third innings and their pitchers kept New Zealand off the board. G. Tattersfleld (Southland) pitched five innings for New Zealand, allowing three hits. The tourists outbatted the D. Cheyne (Wellington) and W. Baldwin (Hutt Valley) batted well, and P. Rogers (Auckland) excelled in the field.
