STATIONERY PRICES
Big Increases Denieil <y.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 8. A denial that substantial price increases in school stationery had occurred, particularly since August 17, was made by the president of the Commercial Stationers' Guild (Mr G. Limb). He said that in May this year N.Z. Forest Products increased the price of paper and consequently many stationery items increased. There had been no change in retail percentage margins, however, where guild members were concerned. Mr Limb was commenting on recent protests by C.A.R.P. over increases in school stationery prices.
