C.P.D. Sees Better Year
Cable, Price, Downer, Ltd, the Wellington-based engineering and electrical group, expects results for the current year to be no worse than in the latest year, the chairman (Mr K. C. Campbell) told the annual meeting. Results could in fact be better in the current year by a reasonable margin, he said. As to the longer term, directors maintained the utmost confidence in the company and the country as a whole.
Although the last year’s results in some units were disappointing the directors
felt that because of existing conditions the results achieved were satisfactory.
