Bowser Site Refused
An application by Caltex Oil (N.Z.), Ltd, for a specified departure to allow the establishment of a garage and service station at 295-297 Main South Road was refused by the Paparua County Council last evening on the recommendation of its townplanning committee. Mr A. M. Rhodes was given a specified departure for a used car sales business at 43 Buchanans Road, subject to landscaping, the building of a modem office, and site restrictions.
J. F. A. Fox and Company, Ltd, was allowed to have used car sales in conjunction with an existing service station and garage at 117-119 Main South Road.
